Micro Pigmentation Reconstruction
Medical micropigmentation is a form of permanent cosmetics and requires a medical procedure in which any colour or pigment is applied with a needle or electronic machine.
The most common cosmetic micro pigmentation procedures are eye brows, eye liner, lip liner, full lip color and beauty marks. Medical tattooing consists of reconstructive camouflage and re-pigmentation.
Once reconstructive surgery is complete, micro pigmentation is used to create or colour the areola.
This usually helps to disguise any scarring and improve appearance. For most clients it is the ‘finishing touch’ on a long and fraught journey.
